A local country musician will open for Darius Rucker when he takes the Parc International stage in October.
Kaplan native Jaryd Lane will lead off the October 23 benefit concert for the Miles Perret Cancer Services.
Lane has gained a legion of fans with his music, which ranges from rock to country to blues. His songs have received radio airplay across the country. One of his songs, "Silverado," was recently used in commercials for its namesake pick-up truck.
