Flags across Louisiana are flying at half staff in honor of the late Congresswoman Lindy Boggs. Governor Bobby Jindal issued an executive order today ordering all U. S. and state flags fly at half staff until the end of the week. Boggs, who represented New Orleans in the House of Representatives for 18 years and later served three years as U. S. Ambassador to the Vatican, died Saturday at the age of 97.
