SATSUMA, La. (AP) - State police say an 18-year-old woman died after her pickup collided with a truck on U.S. 190 at South Satsuma Road in Livingston Parish.
Trooper Jared Sandifer says Isabella V. Lacasse, of Livingston, was northbound Thursday on South Satsuma Road when she made a left turn on to U.S. 190 and was hit by the truck.
Sandifer says Lacasse, who was wearing a seat belt, died from her injuries in the crash.
An infant passenger in Lacasse's vehicle, who was properly restrained, was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
