NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A man found dead in a vacant lot in the Algiers neighborhood earlier this week has been identified as a 27-year-old New Orleans resident.
The New Orleans coroner's office tells The Times-Picayune that Lyndell Patterson died of multiple gunshot wounds.
He was found in a grassy lot on Vespasian Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say they have no motive or suspects.
