The Franklin Police Department responded to 31 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
7/27/2012 @ 1:22 PM, ANNA MARIE WILLIS, 34, of Myra Street - Franklin, LA was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging her with Failure To Appear on the charge of Speeding. Ms. Willis was processed and released on a $204.00 cash fine.
7/27/2012@ 1:54 PM, RORY C. LANDRY, 30, of Martin Luther King Blvd - Franklin, LA was arrested on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with Failure To Appear on traffic charges. Mr. Landry was processed and released on a $343.50 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
7/27/2012 @ 3:31 PM, JOSEPH HENRY BONIN JR., 47, of Jefferson Island Road - New Iberia, LA was arrested on a warrant dated February 12, 2012, charging him with Aggravated Second Degree Battery. Mr. Bonin was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Bonin was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
7/28/2012 @ 6:45 PM, NINA PATRICIA REED, 56, of West Third Street - Franklin, LA was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Ms. Reed was processed and held on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
7/29/2012 @ 5:42 AM, ELIZABETH MONIQUE COLLINS, 30, of St. Joseph Lane - Franklin, LA was arrested and charged with Two Head Lamps Required, Failure To Provide Proof of Liability Insurance, Driving Under Suspension and Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information. Ms. Collins was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging her with Failure To Appear on the charge of Speeding. Ms. Collins was processed and released on a $2500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and a $304.50 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
7/29/2012 @ 6:34 PM, JONATHON ANTHONY JAMES, 20, of Iberia Street - Franklin, LA was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace. Mr. James was processed and released on a $250.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
7/29/2012 @ 9:26 PM, GASTON OBIEN WILLIAMS, 23, of Iberia Street - Franklin, LA was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Mr. Williams was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
JUVENILE ARRESTS:
7/28/2012, A 15 year old female was arrested and charged with Ungovernable Juvenile. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
